Dr. Lewis J. Patsavos is Professor of Canon Law, Emeritus and Former Director of Field Education at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology.  He serves as Consultant on Canonical Affairs to the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and other Orthodox Jurisdictions.  He has been a member of the Orthodox – Roman Catholic Bilateral Consultation in North America and engaged in many other ecumenical activities as well.  Besides numerous articles in Canon Law, he has edited the volumes Icon and Kingdom (1993) and Council in Trullo (1995) of the Greek Orthodox Theological Review.  He is also the author of Primacy and Conciliarity (1995), Spiritual Dimensions of the Holy Canons (2003) and A Noble Task (2007).
